After starting out with music theory, Dempsey turned to classical guitar and then electric guitar at a young age. Following a brief experience in modeling, he chose to fully dedicate himself to music, training in an academy while performing with various local bands and quickly building strong stage experience.
He later continued his studies at ETM Geneva, where he gained recognition on the regional scene, notably through radio performances. His career then expanded through numerous projects, concerts, and tours across France. He joined a cabaret orchestra alongside musicians from Michel Sardou and went on to collaborate with Swiss singer Dania Gio, performing on stage and television in Switzerland and Italy.
He gradually reached a wider audience through his educational content while developing a career as a composer for advertising and media. Deeply involved in sharing his craft, he has taken part in major events and served as both jury member and president for a renowned guitar festival competition.
Together with Pierre Willimann, he co-founded the band Charivari, which quickly achieved strong success on stage. Alongside this, he continues to deliver masterclasses, live demonstrations, and collaborations with various brands.
He has also expanded his artistic work into film scoring and developed signature gear, widely praised by the media.
