Martial “Marty” Allart is a French guitarist born in 1975 and based in Reims. He discovered the guitar at the age of 13, inspired by his father, a hard rock enthusiast. He quickly developed a passion for the guitar heroes of the 90s and honed his skills under the influence of major artists such as Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Paul Gilbert, Nuno Bettencourt, and George Lynch.
In 1997, he founded the progressive metal band Regency, with whom he released two EPs and the album Awakening. The band distinguished itself on stage, notably opening for renowned artists such as Patrick Rondat, Pain of Salvation, Ark, The Gathering, and Superior.
From 2000 onward, Martial also established himself as a teacher, giving guitar lessons in Reims, while simultaneously working as a demonstrator and content creator for the music industry. He is currently endorsed by Vola Guitars, Savarez Strings, Two Notes Audio Engineering, SP Custom, and Constant Bourgeois, and has collaborated with numerous brands such as Filling Distribution, FX Amps, FredAmp, Maybach Guitars, Ibanez, and Vigier.
Since 2016, he has been the guitarist for the French rock ‘n’ roll band Les Forbans, with whom he regularly performs live, playing approximately 60 concerts a year. He notably contributed to their 2018 album, 40, as well as their 2024 vinyl release, Au mois d’août.
In 2024, Martial Allart took a new artistic step with the release of his first solo album, New World. Rooted in a progressive metal sound, this project is entirely self-produced in his personal studio, where he recorded the guitars, bass, vocals, drum programming, as well as handling the mixing and art direction.
Between performing, teaching and creating, Martial “Marty” Allart develops a demanding and authentic musical universe, at the service of the guitar and artistic expression.
